Hey! I'm Danny, an information security professional with hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining enterprise detective, preventive, and directive controls.
I was introduced into this career in my early years through Scambaiting, an internet vigilantism to counter various types of technical support scams and financial fraud. Although this was entertainment at the time, this inspired me to direct my path towards cyber security from a young age.
After completing my apprenticeship, I have continued to work in the financial sector to help protect my company's systems and information as an Information Security Analyst.
My apprenticeship focused on cyber risk management; how organisations effectively define, assess, treat, and monitor cyber risks.
